2 days from marrakech to zagora

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU – ZAGORA

Around 7h00 o’clock, Our trip will start from Marrakech through Zagora crossing the high atlas mountains to Ouarzazate city.So We will drive for two hours through Tizi N’ Tichka North Africa’s highest peak pass 2260 in the High Atlas Mountains. We stop for lunch at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which classified as a World Heritage Site and after we pay a tour of the Kasbah. After lunch, we enter the palm-filled Draa valley with its lush oasis and Berber villages.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Zagora.

DAY 2: ZAGORA - OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Early in the morning, we drive to Tinfou to enjoy the sunrise on the dunes where you will have a camel ride then you return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we pay a visit to the village of Tamegroute, famous for its shrine and an amazing library of medieval Arabic books and the characteristic green glazed pottery. We continue then to Ouarzazate where we have lunch. After lunch, we take a look at Taourirt Kasbah and studios where many international blockbusters films have been made before returning to Marrakech.
