DAY TRIP From Marrakech TO OUARZAZATE HOLLYWOOD OF AFRICA

From Marrakech through Ouarzazate city and crossing the highest peak of the High Atlas mountain, which called Tizin n'Tichka: means simply the road between mountains which offers amazing landscapes with different color contrast, while you are driving you will across different Berber villages so that you will see the real Moroccan Berber life. Then you carry on through the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village of clay and stone with gates many mansions and beautifully decorated buildings.
This fortified village is one of the most attractive and beautiful in the south of Morocco, it is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987. The beauty of this zone is well preserved by film producers who have shooted differents blockbusters movies (such as Gladiator, spy game, Game of Thrones, Laurence Arabia and prince of Persia ) so thanks to those films the area it becomes a famous site .also, cinema is welcome by the inhabitants of this region simply because it is the source of extra income for the work they perform as extras in movies.
 this area which located between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert will allow you to explore several kasbahs, all of the color of sand and forming small Berber villages, people they choose to hide themselves over there because from the beginning they live with wild animals there are also wars so that in mountains they can protect themselves.
